Our Introduction
Jan Franko is more than a name; it is a standard of traditional archery. As the founder of the Academy, Jan Franko serves as the bridge between the world’s most elite bowyers—like KadysBows, Harvey Archery, and MR Bows—and the archers who seek more than just equipment.
With training grounds in Slovakia and a global digital presence, the brand focuses on the mental and physical synthesis required for instinctive shooting. Every bow curated under this name has been vetted for its balance, historical integrity, and soul.

Craftsmanship
Every bow is made using traditional laminated construction. Multiple layers of wood and modern materials are combined to achieve strength, flexibility, and long-term stability.
The shape of each bow follows historical references from Asiatic and steppe archery traditions.
Special care is taken in selecting the wood, shaping the limbs, and finishing the handle to ensure smooth draw and reliable performance. No two bows are exactly the same. Each piece reflects the character of the materials and the work of the bowyer.
Philosophy
The arrow does not seek the target, it simply finds its way when the mind is no longer in the way. Discipline is not a restriction, but the architecture of freedom.
