Manchu Bow

The Manchu Bow follows the design used by Qing dynasty military archers. Characterized by large siyahs and a long draw length, it represents one of the most powerful composite bow traditions in East Asian archery history.

The Lineage of the Bow
The distinctive large siyahs of the Manchu bow allow for a very long draw length, enabling the use of heavy arrows and powerful shooting techniques. This design gives the bow exceptional penetrating power and stability at range.
Under the Qing dynasty, archery was elevated as a core discipline of the ruling warrior class. The Manchu bow was not only a military weapon but a symbol of cultural identity and martial tradition that was actively preserved and practiced.
The bow that built an empire must be worthy of the empire it built.

My philosophy is rooted in the balance of respect. Respect for the natural wood, respect for the ancient geometry of the horse bow, and respect for the modern archer's need for consistency. Every limb is shaped by hand, every riser is polished until the soul of the wood reveals itself."
