Varjag
The Varjag is a handcrafted bow by master bowyer Miško Rovčanin of MR Bows, Serbia. Inspired by historical warrior traditions and built using modern laminated construction for durability and reliable performance. Custom build available with choice of handle wood. Delivery time: 3–6 months.
Craftsmanship
Every bow is made using traditional laminated construction. Multiple layers of wood and modern materials are combined to achieve strength, flexibility, and long-term stability.
The shape of each bow follows historical references from Asiatic and steppe archery traditions.
Special care is taken in selecting the wood, shaping the limbs, and finishing the handle to ensure smooth draw and reliable performance. No two bows are exactly the same. Each piece reflects the character of the materials and the work of the bowyer.
