This expedition explores the landscapes and traditions that shaped one of the most remarkable archery cultures in history. Participants practice traditional archery while experiencing the natural environment and living traditions of the Mongolian steppe.

Expedition Overview
The expedition is organized in small groups so participants can experience Mongolia in a meaningful and authentic way.
The journey takes place in central Mongolia, with the base located in Kharkhorin, the ancient capital of the Mongol Empire.
Our local partner has more than 24 years of experience organizing horse trips and cultural tours throughout Mongolia. His guest house in Kharkhorin provides a comfortable base with showers, sauna facilities, and fresh restrooms, while participants can also stay in traditional Mongolian gers (yurts).

Participants may also experience elements of Mongolian cultural traditions such as the Naadam festival, where traditional archery competitions are still practiced today. Local Naadam ceremonies take place throughout Mongolia in July and offer a unique opportunity to observe traditional archery as part of living cultural heritage.
