MONGOLIA: STEPPE SUMMIT
As the flagship immersion of the 2026 Nomadic Series, this expedition is audited against the annual theme of Expansion Through Control. Practitioners will transition from the Academy’s managed environments to the raw reality of the Orkhon Valley, where technical mastery of the Asiatic bow is tested against the unpredictable variables of the open steppe. This is a structural immersion designed to bridge contemporary mechanics with the functional origins of nomadic lineage.

OVERVIEW
The Mongolia Nomadic Base serves as the Academy’s annual flagship immersion. Located in the heart of the Orkhon Valley, this module focuses on the structural transition to horseback archery and deep technical refinement of the Asiatic draw in its native environment.
Participants transition from the managed environments of the Academy to the raw, unmanaged reality of the open steppe. Here, the focus shifts from static mechanics to dynamic environmental adaptation and nomadic heritage.

OPERATIONAL STANDARDS & ELIGIBILITY
The Mongolia Nomadic Base is an environment of high-intensity technical and physical demands. Success in this cohort requires a synthesis of mechanical discipline and environmental resilience. Admission is predicated on the practitioner’s ability to maintain “structural calm” while navigating the logistical and physical isolation of the Orkhon Valley. Every participant is audited against the Academy’s safety framework to ensure the integrity of the group and the continuity of the training mission.
Technical Requirements & Logistics
Participant Profile
This expedition is designed strictly for active traditional archers and outdoor-oriented individuals comfortable with dynamic, isolated environments.
Physical Condition
Participants must be capable of sustained physical activity, including long-duration movement and repeated archery sessions.
Age & Medical Policy
There is no strict upper age limit; however, applicants above 60 may be required to provide medical confirmation of suitability for high-altitude steppe environments.
Insurance Mandate
Proof of valid travel insurance that explicitly covers equestrian activities is a non-negotiable requirement.
Group Metrics
To ensure an optimal instructor-to-student ratio, the target group is 8 practitioners, with a strict maximum of 12.
Deployment Status
The expedition is officially confirmed once the minimum viable group of 4 participants is reached.
Liability & Responsibility
Admission requires a signed participation waiver, medical confirmation of fitness, and an explicit acceptance of personal responsibility for the inherent risks of outdoor expeditionary training.
